A pencil and paper. I have problems with trying to write on a computer--I can do it if I absolutely have to, but there's something cathartic about the scratch of lead across paper that I just can't seem to give up. I have two huge binders and a dozen different notebooks filled with stuff I've written since the sixth grade; it's fun to be able to go back and read over what I wrote back then and compare it to what I'm writing today.
Devious Comments
During the year 2009 I wrote a column for my city's newspaper. In the end I was awarded a plaque & a scholarship for my hard work.
I published my poem Dreaming Ends in a Texas series by Pine Tree Publications. It featured talented young writers.
I recieved a DD for my poem Submerged In Swan Lake recently. I'm very self-concious about my poetry - so this was quite the achievment for me.
2. Here's a piece by me:
The Bride of Atlas
And here's a piece I admire:
Fisherman's Blues by `KathrynODriscoll
3. A question for you:
What do you think about Prologues? Are they necessary, or pointless?

From my gallery: Phoenix Songs
From someone else's gallery: knock knock.
Question for you: If you could write about one thing without fear of others' reactions or of sounding cliche, what would it be and why?
My sister. I want her to be able to experience writing like I can.

My question: What is one place you would go if you could?
If we're talking real, I'd say....I'd love to visit a star, especially the shooting ones.
If we're talking anywhere at all....I really don't know if I could decide on just one! Anywhere with faeries and unicorns, I guess.
